About This Site

It is my intention to acquaint readers with historical orthodox Christian theology.  The term Evangelical no longer carries its original meaning, i.e. those who believe in the Holy Scripture (Bible) as the final authority for faith and practice, the inerrancy of Holy Scripture, absolute truth, and Jesus Christ being the only way to God.  Today in many cases we have weak churches, with weak preachers, preaching weak messages.  In some churches there isn't enough Gospel preached or taught for people to reject.  In a post-modern world we have often elected to preach a social gospel of felt needs and popular psychology void of any real Gospel at all.  It is my prayer that this site may, in some small way, mitigate the lack of discernment, knowledge and doctrinal clarity that is desperately needed in our churches today.  The Word of God, is now and always has been, the power of God unto Salvation.  It is the unvarnished Gospel that saves and without it the world is without hope.
